The Humpback Whale is the most playful of all whales and they migrate to our warm tropical waters from their northern feeding grounds for mating and calving. Males initiate mating by singing and impressive demonstrations of power such as tail flapping, pectoral fin slapping, and breaches where a 40-ton whale will come flying out of the water! Females impregnated the year before return and calve and newborns are very playful as their moms get them ready for the migration north.
Join us on our comfortable classic sailboats (bathroom and shade), with low noise to minimize the impact to the whales, and excellent viewing. Our guides and crew provide a wealth of information as they share our passion for these magnificent animals. Relax and enjoy excellent service and hospitality.
